This meeting will focus on healthcare career pathways. Agenda includes: Presentation of Women Employed’s qualitative research project on Healthcare Career Pathways. The team interviewed 44 Chicagoland women who began their careers in frontline healthcare positions and later advanced into higher wage roles. Their findings illustrate common themes in the women’s career advancement stories, and culminate in a variety of recommendations

This meeting will focus on our Good Jobs Challenge Nursing Assistant Training Hub. The grant-funded initiative brings together five healthcare employers and four training providers to train nearly 300 CNAs over two years while providing wrap-around supports, career exploration and planning, and mentoring. The project also supported 9 incumbent frontline healthcare workers to begin training as a Registered Nurse. Agenda
