June 2025 Quarterly Meeting
This meeting will focus on healthcare career pathways. Agenda includes:
- Presentation of Women Employed‘s qualitative research project on Healthcare Career Pathways. The team interviewed 44 Chicagoland women who began their careers in frontline healthcare positions and later advanced into higher wage roles. Their findings illustrate common themes in the women’s career advancement stories, and culminate in a variety of recommendations for hospitals, clinics, education providers, and other stakeholders to increase equitable access to opportunities.
- Brief announcements and updates from Malcolm X College on initiatives to strengthen career pathways in health.
- Brief overview of two related Career Pathway Resource projects designed to help students, job seekers, and employees navigate health career opportunities and pathways. These projects are led by Health & Medicine Policy Research Group and Innovation Nexus.
Light breakfast and free parking provided.
Quarterly meetings are open to all stakeholders invested in creating a stronger, more inclusive healthcare workforce in Chicagoland. Meetings typically include updates on our work, presentations about new programs and partnership opportunities, and networking.
