Career Pathway Programs Across the Nation Series: Ohio State University Physicians & Stepful

We’ll learn about Ohio State University Physicians’ (OSUP) programs to upskill frontline staff to become certified medical assistants or licensed practical nurses in partnership with Stepful. Stepful has built a training program that combines best practice pedagogies such as live instructors, peer study groups, and coaches, with the accessibility of an online, user-friendly platform. The result is industry-leading outcomes at a fraction of the cost. Through these pipeline programs, OSUP and Stepful are filling 8 vacancies per month on average, and have improved retention by 80%.
